RafterRelay · a clear agreement

A simple set of expectations for keeping your home records in one useful place.

Terms without the fog.

These terms describe the RafterRelay service, your responsibilities, and the limits of what the service can do for you.

Effective: September 11, 2026

The short version

By creating an account or using RafterRelay, you agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

The service

RafterRelay provides a subscription workspace for organizing home maintenance, warranty, contractor, and related household records. Features may change as we improve the service. We may occasionally need to pause or limit parts of RafterRelay for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.

Accounts and your records

Keep your account information accurate and keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account and for telling us if you believe someone else has accessed it.

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawful use of the home records you add. Make sure you have the right to upload or share anything you put into RafterRelay, including information about other people or properties.

You keep ownership of the records and other content you provide. You give RafterRelay permission to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Not professional advice

RafterRelay is an organizational tool, not a substitute for advice from a licensed contractor, engineer, inspector, attorney, insurance professional, or other qualified expert. Records, reminders, estimates, and suggestions in the service may be incomplete or out of date. Use your judgment and seek professional help for safety, structural, electrical, plumbing, legal, insurance, or other specialized decisions.

Subscription and cancellation

RafterRelay may offer founding access and paid subscription plans. The price, billing interval, and any promotional terms shown when you subscribe are part of your purchase. The first founding spots may be offered at no charge as described on the sign-up and pricing pages; eligibility is limited to the offer terms shown there. You can cancel a recurring subscription using the available account or billing controls, or by contacting us at rafterrelay@gmail.com. Cancellation applies to future renewals, subject to the terms shown at checkout.

Refunds

If you cancel a paid subscription within 30 days of your first charge, email rafterrelay@gmail.com and we will refund that month. Later months are not refunded, but cancellation stops all future charges.

Acceptable use

Do not use RafterRelay to break the law, infringe another person's rights, upload malicious code, probe or disrupt the service, evade usage limits, impersonate someone else, or access another user's account or records. We may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable steps to protect the service and its users.

Ownership, disclaimers, and limits

RafterRelay and its software, design, and branding belong to RafterRelay or its licensors. These terms give you a limited right to use the service while your account is in good standing; they do not transfer ownership.

To the extent allowed by law, RafterRelay is provided as available without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for every purpose. We are not responsible for decisions made solely from records, reminders, or other service content.

To the extent allowed by law, RafterRelay will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing here limits responsibility that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using RafterRelay at any time. We may suspend or end access if an account creates a security, legal, or operational risk, violates these terms, or if we discontinue the service. We may update these terms as the service changes. If an update is important, we will use a reasonable way to notify you; continuing to use RafterRelay after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
